Refund Policy

At MelodyStars.in, we are committed to providing high-quality music education and a smooth learning experience. Since students enroll only after attending demo classes, our refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and aligned with the effort invested by our tutors.

1. Refunds for Online Music Classes

Refunds are permitted under the following conditions:

  • The student must have completed a minimum of 2 paid classes before requesting a refund.
  • The reason for refund must be genuine and reasonable, such as dissatisfaction with teaching quality or delivery.

Timing-related issues are not eligible for refund, as we provide:

  • Flexible scheduling
  • Option to reschedule
  • Alternate time slots
  • Ability to change tutors

Refunds will be considered only after all possible accommodations are offered:

  • Adjusting class timing
  • Offering different schedules
  • Allocating a new tutor

If, after these steps, the student is still not satisfied, a refund request will be reviewed.

2. Refunds for Competition Registrations

Competition fees are generally non-refundable once the participant has joined.

Refunds for competitions will be considered only in exceptional cases at the discretion of management.

Any approved refund will be processed on a pro-rated basis, if applicable.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Student not available or unwilling to adjust timings
  • Change of mind after joining
  • Technical issues (internet/device problems on the user side)
  • Attendance of less than 2 classes
  • Missed sessions
  • Demo classes (already free)

4. Refund Calculation (Pro-Rated)

If a refund is approved:

The amount will be calculated on a pro-rated basis, considering:

  • Total classes attended
  • Tutor time utilized
  • Payment gateway charges
  • Administrative fee (₹199)

Refund = Total Paid – (Completed Classes Cost + Gateway Charges + Admin Fee)

5. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 working days.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
  • Payment gateway delays are outside our control.

6. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, email: register@melodystars.in with:

  • Student name
  • Registered mobile number
  • Course / Competition enrolled
  • Payment details / transaction ID
  • Reason for refund

Our team will evaluate and revert with the next steps.

7. Policy Updates

MelodyStars.in reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. All updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
